Sun Life Grepa and Home Credit intensify their collaboration for the underserved sector

SUN Life Grepa Financial Inc. (Sun Life Grepa), a leading insurer in the country, and Home Credit Philippines (HCPH), a leading provider of consumer credit technology, continue to strengthen their strategic partnership for the underserved Philippine market.

Sun Life Grepa and HCPH have improved coverage six times over the past five years. The latest enhancement provides P50,000 Personal Accident Insurance and P5,000 Accident Medical Reimbursement to all eligible family members of Home Credit borrowers. This further protects Filipino borrowers against unexpected emergencies in their family.

“Through this partnership, we have been able to create solutions and implement innovative initiatives, giving Filipinos greater control over their finances,” said Richard Lim, President of Sun Life Grepa. “As our partnership with HCPH continues, we will ensure that we intensify our efforts to reach more of the underserved sector and create more financial protection options tailored to their needs.”

Additionally, since their inception, Sun Life Grepa and HCPH have been able to secure over 8 million borrowers, providing financial security while ensuring peace of mind not only for themselves, but also for their families.

“As a company founded on the concept of responsible lending, we are on a mission to improve financial literacy within the mass market. We are grateful for this partnership with Sun Life Grepa, and we look forward to ‘other opportunities to increase our presence and promote this business with them,’ says David Miñol, HCPH’s Managing Director.
