Publico has served as an Independent Director of Home Credit Philippines since the company began operations in the country in 2013. As an independent director, Publico was one of the most important members of the board responsible for setting the strategic direction and risk appetite of HCPH. He served on the board committee that developed enterprise-wide strategic, risk, financial, regulatory and reputational affairs.
Publico’s expertise and experience provided valuable information to the HCPH Board and Board Committees as a basis for critical decision-making. He was Chairman of the Risk Management Committee from 2020 to 2021, a member of the Corporate Governance Committee and the Internal Audit Committee from 2019 to 2021 and a member of the Compensation Committee in 2015 and 2016.
