Mortgage lender HDFC launched a one-time WhatsApp offer on Tuesday to provide home loan in-principle approval to buyers in 2 minutes.
HDFC’s WhatsApp Spot offer is a platform that will allow potential borrowers to get instant home loan approval in principle, the lender said in a statement.
All users have to do is initiate a conversation on HDFC’s WhatsApp number (+91 9867000000) and provide some basic information, with just a few clicks through a guided chat flow, he said.
Based on the information entered by the client, a projected home loan offer letter is generated instantly.
The home loan offer facility can be used 24/7, he said, adding that there is no ‘waiting time’ for the approval letter home loan. This facility is available to salaried resident Indians.
“At HDFC, we focus and invest in digital transformation for better customer experience and better engagement. Housing demand in India continues to remain extremely robust,” HDFC Managing Director Renu Sud Karnad said.
