The huge growth company of Cypress Waters is calling for a move of headquarters

An office tenant moving to Cypress Waters is not far away.

Omni Logistics just leased more than 52,000 square feet of office space in the mixed project at the northeast corner of the LBJ Freeway and Belt Line Road.

But North Texas -based global shipping, warehousing and transportation will only move down the street.

Omni Logistics will move from its headquarters at 3100 Olympus Boulevard to the 3200 Olympus building. The new office will be five times the size of the company’s old excavations.

Both office projects are owned by Cypress Waters developer Billingsley Co.

“One of the many benefits of working at Cypress Waters is our flexibility to change our clients’ needs as they grow, ”Marijke Lantz, Billingsley’s senior vice president, said in an email. “We fulfilled Omni’s request for more space in another building in Cypress Waters after they vacated their current location.”

Omni Logistics plans to move in November, according to planning documents filed with the state.

HKS is designing a new space.

Omni Logistics has operations throughout America, Europe and the Far East.

Nearly 3 million square feet of office space has been built in Cypress Waters, home to more than 11,000 workers. Companies including 7-Eleven, CoreLogic, Nokia, Brinker International, Toyota Industries Commercial Finance, Caliber Home Loans, BT America and Constellation Brands have offices on the project.

Billingsley Co. recently filed plans for a new office project with 300,000 square feet at 3300 Olympus Blvd.
