Pearl Nelson, 90, Minot, ND, formerly of Lansford, ND, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Trinity Homes in Minot.

Pearl Doris Adams was born on September 23, 1931, the youngest of eleven children born to Henry and Lydia (Brandt) Adams, on the family farm near Kramer, ND. He grew up on the family farm and attended a country school in the area and graduated from Kramer High School in 1949.

Pearl was united in marriage to Harry G. Nelson October 2, 1949, who settled on their farm with the Nelson family near Lansford. At one point, Pearl sold Avons, World Book, and Shaklee Products.

Pearl and Harry are members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenburn, where she has served on the Ministry Committee, taught Sunday school, been active in women’s circles, and served on Evangelism and WELCA boards. He also belongs to Lansford Senior Citizens, Card Club, Birthday Club and Homemakers.

She enjoys gardening, crocheting and acting and loves to read. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and family celebrations on holidays and special occasions. Pearl has always enjoyed the bond she has with many special friends and neighbors throughout the year.

Her loving family includes: children, Bonnie (Jim) Ripplinger, Minot, ND, Terry (Natalia) Nelson, Lansford, ND, Darlene (Emil) Schoenfish, Devils Lake, ND, and Gail (Blain) Christianson, Fargo , ND; 13 apo; 20 great -grandchildren; brother -in -law, Duane (Margaret) Nelson, Garrison, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins ​​and many good friends.

Pearl was preceded in death by: her parents; wife Harry, who passed away Feb. 15, 2010; granddaughter, Nicole Christianson; daughter -in -law, Gail Nelson; seven siblings and three siblings.

Funeral: Tuesday, October 5, 2021, 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn.

Mediation: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Family Prayer Service: Monday at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memories: preferred to an organization chosen by the donor.
