Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse to move to The Foundry in Fountain Square

Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse in Cincinnati is moving. The steakhouse will move to a newly converted space in Fountain Square called The Foundry. This is expected to happen in 2022. Cincinnati Center City Development Corp., known as 3CDC, is replacing the former Macy’s near Fountain Place with The Foundry, which is a “modern, mixed-use development,” according to a news release. The Foundry sits directly across from Fountain Square in Downtown Cincinnati. The release indicates the location of the new Jeff Ruby at The Foundry will be the flagship of Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment’s fine dining steakhouse group. “Fountain Square is the iconic center of this amazing city.,” Jeff Ruby, founder and chairman of Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment, said in a statement. “This is where people come to take risks, where we partake after big wins, where we celebrate life. I’m honored that we’re able to add to its legacy and bring joy to food experiences around the world.” The new Jeff Ruby’s The location promises to be “luxurious” like the other seven restaurants, according to Ruby. It features elegant dining rooms, a furnished patio, plenty of rooms for private dining and events, valet parking and more. There will also be a full-service bar and lounge with a high stage for live performances. Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse’s existing location on The Walnut Street will be converted into a full service event center that can hold up to 250 guests. Jeff Ruby’s will remain open at this location until its move in late 2022.
