Furniture specialists are moving to new office North West

Furniture Habits is set to move to the top floor of a Manchester office this month after signing a ten-year lease.

Agreed to a deal on the 1,800 sq ft building at 37 King Street after the Manchester team, which will move from service office space to John Dalton Street, looked into a private office with enough room for growth.

The in-house team will adapt to the space, with the venue set to be a showcase of what The Furniture Store has to offer.

With offices in London, New York and Manchester, the firm provides design-led advice on the placement of spaces including offices and co-working, universities, hotels, restaurants and residential developments.

Amelia Barratt, associate director of Sixteen Real Estate, which is the property agent for the building, said: “We had a substantial amount of interest in 37 King Street.

“The building was fully fixed to the highest standards during the lockdown and now offers light, bright, office space in one of the best locations in the city center.”

By the end of 2020, 37 King Street will be acquired by London -based developer Investream.

The building has been completely renovated to provide four private offices, each boasting unique, dual aspect views across St Ann’s Square and along King Street.

The workspace was designed by interior design studio Incognito. The building is also home to a ground floor and lower ground floor leisure unit. Both of these are currently being offered at well -known restaurant and leisure brands that will open in the spring of next year.
